Kitchen
We have a fully equipped kitchen, a variety of plates, cutlery, bowls, pots, and frypans. An electric stove with elements and oven. extra bench top elements, plenty of preparation space. Two sinks, and a dishwasher. Tea towels, dish liquid and cleaning cloths supplied. Two fridges plus cupboards to store dry goods. The kitchen has an enchanting bay window with built in bench and stools to look out to the garden and street.
Lounge/Dining Room
A favourite place to have breakfast or while away the time. The dining table seats 8 people comfortably. The lounge/ dining room is a comfortable room to relax, read, and play board games like trimonios, bananas, sequence, chess or cards. We have no TV.
Front Verandah
Along the front of the house is a covered verandah with chairs to relax and rest. Can move around to catch the sun or shade. Two picnic tables on the lawn to enjoy your meal outside. We have garden birds, Tui, Sparrows, Thrush, Fantail and Chaffinch fluttering about in the gardens and singing about their enjoyment of the day.
Back Garden
The back courtyard has more chairs and a table. BBQ available for alfresco dining. The courtyard grabs the afternoon sun and is sheltered from any wind by the house and trees. We have two bikes for the guests to use, helmet and bike lock are provided.
